Outdoor Opera at Lansdowne House

We are delighted that, thanks to the generous hospitality of Robert and Christine Wilson, AVYC supporters will have the opportunity to hear some of the best young singers in the choir performing solo opera arias. With the elegant facade Lansdowne House (just outside Fordingbridge) as the backdrop, an evening of sophistication and musical pleasure awaits those who join us for this event. With several of the choir members now studying singing at some of the UK's top conservatoires this is an opportunity not to be missed.

As with all AVYC events, admission to the performance is free, but a retiring collection will be taken in aid of a local charity. 

Admission is by ticket only. In the event of inclement weather it will be necessary to cancel this outdoor event. Those who have requested tickets will be notified by 10.00 on the morning of the performance should a cancellation be necessary. Tickets are available by email from avyc@sparkhall.org.uk

Members of the audience are encouraged to bring their picnics, a glass of wine or two and even to bring their own chairs and picnic tables. Dress is formal. Gates open at 5.30 p.m. Concert begins at 6.30 p.m.
