Avon Valley  Youth Choir

First-class concert

You could have heard a pin drop during the choral concert held in Ringwood Parish Church. The Avon Valley Youth Choir performed the breathtakingly beautiful Allegri 'Miserere' followed by Vivaldi's exuberant 'Gloria' to a near-full capacity audience.  The voices of the choir members - all young people from local schools and colleges - blended superbly and the sheer quality of sound was exceptionally high, particularly since the Choir started practising for the concert just 9 hours beforehand!  Led by husband and wife team Chris and Olivia Sparkhall, the Avon Valley Youth Choir is establishing a first-class reputation for singing well-known and well-loved music that has the power both to move and enthral audiences.   The concert was held in aid of Naomi House and a total of £1092.00 was raised for the charity.  These concerts are definitely not to be missed!
